Hublot - Alan Roura, new brand ambassador
atchmaker Hublot is committed alongside the skipper Alan Roura. In his third participation in a row, the Geneva sailors can therefore count on a top-class title partner and a long-term cooperation with one major goal: to win the 2024 edition of the "Everest of the Seas", the most difficult sailing race in the world.
Alan Roura is 29 years old and has been on the water for 27 years, including 9 years in competition (he competed in the Mini Transat when he was only 20), has completed two single-handed circumnavigations of the world and clocked up thousands of miles. The sea is his freedom! The Swiss sailor, who has lived in Brittany since 2012, was the youngest Vendée Globe finisher in 2016, currently holds the single-handed trans-North Atlantic record and is now setting course for his next challenge: becoming the first foreign winner of the Vendée Globe. On board the IMOCA 60 HUBLOT, he will take part in all regattas on the calendar over the next three seasons, including four transatlantic regattas, before embarking on another circumnavigation in 2024. A unique human adventure and sporting challenge, he takes the Swiss watch manufacturer on board a boat with ultimate technology, a futuristic latest generation foiler with a fully enclosed cockpit. Hublot and sailing, that's a story that has lasted since the beginning of the brand in 1980. Almost 25 years later, the watchmaker chooses Alan Roura to celebrate its return to the most legendary regatta of all time!
