Big Pilot's Watches Perpetual Calendar

No other complication was the main actor on the dial of the Big Pilot’s Watch as often as the perpetual calendar developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s. The mechanism with its many displays is not only particularly effective on the large dial. The calendar information is also very easy to read. The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar has a stainless steel case, a blue dial, rhodium-plated hands and a blue calfskin strap. The perpetual calendar recognizes the different lengths of the months and the leap years and does not require a correction until 2100. The calendar module, made up of around 80 individual parts, is driven by a single nightly switching impulse from the IWC manufacture caliber 52615. Heavily stressed components of the Pellaton elevator are made of almost wear-free ceramic. Two barrels store a power reserve of seven days when fully wound. The sapphire glass case back allows a view of the elaborately decorated manufacture movement.
